VRC Collaborative Spaces: Study Camp Recap

At the end of the Spring 2019 semester, students gathered in the Visual Resources Center for the Art History 102 Study Camp. Students, or campers, used the VRC’s collaborative spaces to study before their final exam. Campers took advantage of the VRC’s wide-screen monitors to quiz each other on IDs and essay questions. Professors Catherine Howe and Michael Lewis popped in throughout the day to answer questions.

The VRC provided campers comfort snacks and a place to study with a ‘campfire-like atmosphere’. Last fall, the VRC hosted study camp for Professor Michelle Apotsos’ ARTH 104 course, Materials, Meanings, and Messages in the Arts of Africa. The Visual Resources Center has been hosting art history study camps since December 2015!
